Nature Theatre - animals of the local deserts demonstrating their natural behaviours.
There are twice daily presentations at the
, at 10:00am and at 3:30pm.
These 20 to 30 minute presentations feature free flying desert birds.
The Nature Theatre presentation can support teaching on habitats, food chains, flight and animal behaviour.
If you are bringing students with a English as a Second Language you may need to pre-teach some vocabulary. One of the most ingenious ways that I have seen a teacher work with ESL kids on this is to video the show that the kids watch so that they can study the show and the language back at school.
